After fully completing the SEO migration process that followed VakıfBank’s new website launch, we shifted our focus to gaining organic visibility from AI-driven search queries. As part of this, we built an AI-powered process for fast, SEO-compliant content production, while continuously monitoring all technical SEO requirements and implementing the necessary technical actions.
As a result, the site-wide average search position rose by 3.5 spots — a remarkable outcome for a site of this scale. Over the same period, impressions grew by 12.5%, driving more organic visibility and traffic.
Requirement: Verify that published and upcoming content complies with regulations, SEO standards, and Turkish spelling rules. Solution: A digital assistant was built that checks regulatory and language compliance while also delivering SEO optimization recommendations.
The assistant performs three core tasks: it checks and corrects content against BDDK regulations, verifies compliance with official Turkish language rules (TDK), and provides SEO/GEO optimization suggestions.
This means legal, linguistic, and search-engine compliance are all validated in a single automated workflow before anything goes live.
The workflow ran in three steps: the digital assistant first analyzed existing content, then corrected it to meet the required rules, and finally the optimized, reviewed content was published.
Critically, content was never published as raw AI output. Every generated and corrected piece went through review and approval by human SEO specialists before publication.
The content production-review-publish cycle sped up by 60%. Over the same period, the brand’s AI visibility score rose from zero to 32.
VakıfBank content was cited as a source in AI-generated answers 181 times in total — 97 through ChatGPT queries, 45 via Google AI Overview, and 39 via AI Mode. Google’s AI search also recommended the brand directly 84 times, and 28 distinct pages were identified as cited sources in AI responses.
As part of the project, a dedicated TDK compliance bot and a Banking Regulations (BDDK) bot were built from scratch. Content was never published as raw AI output — every piece was reviewed and refined by SEO specialists before going live.
As a result, the average keyword position improved by 3.5 spots, reaching a first-page average of 10.1. Over the same 3-month period, page views grew by roughly 12.5%, reaching 74.8 million.
A total of 3,250 pieces of content were analyzed during this process. Work that would take 22 business days by hand was completed in under 3 days with the digital assistant — an 83% time saving.
The process also achieved a 98% accuracy rate and cut operational costs by 80%. The VakıfBank case shows that even in a heavily regulated industry, AI can deliver regulatory compliance, language quality, and SEO performance together — without sacrificing human oversight.
